Aftermath or "Mopping Up for Juan"
In the days following Hurricaine Juan, we saw a 'nation' of people (really just a few cities) band together to conquer the mess left behind by the weather phenomenon. However, there are those (like my rival columnist Will) that have been scared and in hiding.
"Oh, my power's out.... I can't update my BLOG..." he says.
"But Will," I says to him. I says, "You do know that the church (which is a 5 minute walk from your house) has power and you don't have anything to do at home ANYWAY, so you might as well update."
"Yeah," he replies, "I'll do that."
Well, here it is a week later, and still no reply. Perhaps he knows the inevitable outcome of a BLOG battle with yours truly? Perhaps he is afraid of being shamed and beaten in a battle of words?
